Sick again and wagon fun

We had to take Elizabeth to the doctor this past Saturday (why do children always get sick on the weekends?!)...by the time we got there, her fever had spiked to 103 and she looked like a wet noodle. They checked her ears (infected, again!) and also did a white blood cell count. Her levels and fever were both so high the doctor said Elizabeth is sick with something in addition to her ears, but it is hard to pinpoint what. Therefore, they gave her a shot in the leg with a dose of antibiotics and are treating her with a 14 day dose of orals. The doctor also said that these types of recurrent ear infections lead her to believe Elizabeth may have an infected adenoid that is causing the issue (she's had 5 ear infections in the past year and has been congested since Christmas).

Luckily, by Sunday afternoon our little lady perked up enough, and the weather was so nice (80 degrees) that we were able to take her for a little walk around the perimeter of the house. We hope the antibiotics continue to work their magic!
