Sweet baby girl

Elizabeth is such a good girl and is very sweet. There are some days that she just acts like a grumpy old man, but for the most part she is a happy baby and is beginning to be very curious. At mass this morning her eyes were as big as saucers- staring at people, listening to the music, just taking it all in...She is still doing great with sleep- she typically is giving us at least 6-7 hour stretches at night before needing some food. Except last night she woke up at 2 a.m. wanting to eat and then she was up again at 6 a.m. wanting to eat. After that she was wide awake so we went for a walk and then decided to go to early mass. Kevin and I love her so much!

Elizabeth has recently starting to giggle. While these bursts of laughter are currently sporadic, I think we'll be seeing them more and more each day as she grows. It is amazing to think that we had her 3 short months ago!

Almost 3 months old!

Elizabeth will be 12 weeks old on Monday! She is such a good girl. Within the past week she has been sleeping better at night- last night she slept from 7:30 pm until 7:00 am with only one feeding at 1:00 am! That is a record for her. Kevin and I are thrilled to report that we've eaten dinner together every single night this week- Elizabeth goes to bed around 7:30 and then we are able to eat in peace!

Elizabeth is quite a happy little chunk, as you can see from these pictures...but just listen to the video of her crying. This is how she cries every single time she is hungry- it is like the world is coming to an end! Poor girl, her mean mommy took time to catch a video of the cry before giving her a bottle. ;-)

2 Month Doctor's Visit

Elizabeth had her two month check-up at the doctor's office today. In addition to receiving 4 vaccines, she had her height and weight measured. Here are her stats:

Height: 25 inches (they said this is off the charts- greater than 97th percentile)
Weight: 14 pounds (95th percentile)
Head Circumference: 16 inches (90th percentile)
